The condo units are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your luggage every five minutes, and most have these little kitchenettes that actually work (I mean, the coffee maker was decent, which is saying something). The air conditioning runs quietly – crucial detail when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag – and the Wi-Fi was strong enough for video calls back home, though I’d probably avoid trying to stream movies during peak hours when everyone’s online.

What really sold me on this place was the location, though. You’re tucked away from the main tourist strips but still close enough to hop over to places like Chalong or even make a day trip to Patong if you’re feeling adventurous. The beach access is the real winner here – it’s literally a short walk down, and most days you’ll have stretches of sand pretty much to yourself, especially in the mornings. I’d grab coffee from the little café nearby (locals know it, tourists usually don’t) and just sit there watching the long-tail boats drift by. The sunsets from that beach are honestly spectacular, and there’s something about having them mostly to yourself that beats fighting crowds at the more famous spots. The pool area gets busy around midday with families, but early evenings are perfect for a quiet swim. One thing to note – if you’re planning to explore the island a lot, having a scooter or car makes life easier since it’s not exactly walking distance to restaurants and bars, though the few local spots within reach are actually pretty good. It’s that kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned because sometimes you just need somewhere that feels more like a home base than a hotel room.
