This four-star place has been around long enough to figure out what works, and after spending a few nights there, I really started to appreciate the no-nonsense approach they’ve got going on.

The location is honestly pretty solid – you’re close enough to Patong Beach that you can walk there without breaking a sweat, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the chaos of Bangla Road right outside your window at 2 AM. I mean, if you want the party scene, it’s literally a five-minute stroll, but when you want to actually sleep, you can. The staff at check-in were surprisingly efficient too, which I wasn’t expecting given some of the mixed reviews I’d seen online. My room was ready early, and the guy at the front desk actually gave me some decent recommendations for local spots that weren’t just the usual tourist traps.

What really won me over, though, was how the hotel just… works. The pool area is nothing fancy, but it’s clean and gets good sun in the afternoons – perfect for recovering from those late Patong nights. The rooms themselves are bigger than I expected, and while the decor isn’t going to win any awards, everything functions properly. Hot water, decent air conditioning, Wi-Fi that actually connects – you’d be surprised how many places in Phuket can’t nail those basics. I also appreciated that they have a proper restaurant on-site that serves both Thai and Western food that’s actually edible. The breakfast buffet is pretty standard hotel fare, but they make a mean pad thai if you ask nicely, and the coffee is stronger than most places bother with. One thing to note – if you’re planning to visit during high season, book the higher floors if you can. The lower rooms can get a bit of street noise from the tuk-tuks and motorbikes, especially in the early morning when everyone’s heading to work. But honestly, for the price point and the location, those are pretty minor complaints. This isn’t a luxury resort, and it’s not trying to be – it’s a solid, reliable base for exploring everything Phuket has to offer without breaking the bank.

  The rooms are large and very nice. We had a king size bed with lots of pillows. Even an extra little table in the room which we like. Also likes having a fridge and a safe in the room. We enjoyed the pool although there are no steps, just a ladder to get in and out. Everything seemed very clean and well tended to
