I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Phuket Emerald Beach Resort, I was skeptical because, you know, Phuket has so many resorts claiming to be special. But this five-star place actually delivers on what it promises, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The thing that got me right away was how they’ve managed to feel both upscale and genuinely Thai at the same time. You walk into the lobby and there’s this immediate sense of calm – maybe it’s the way the traditional wooden elements blend with modern touches, or how the staff greets you like you’re a regular rather than just another tourist checking in. The grounds are honestly impressive too, with these winding paths through tropical gardens that actually smell amazing (there’s jasmine everywhere in the evenings). What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays even when it’s busy – the layout is smart, so you’re not constantly bumping into other guests or hearing conversations from neighboring rooms.

The beach access is where this place really shines, and I’m not just saying that because it’s in the name. You’re literally steps away from this gorgeous stretch of sand that somehow doesn’t feel overrun with vendors or crowds like some of the more touristy spots. Mornings are particularly perfect – I’d grab coffee from their beachside café around 7 AM and have the place almost to myself. The water is that incredible emerald color you see in postcards, which honestly makes sense given the resort’s name. Staff members are genuinely helpful without being pushy, and they seem to remember small details about what you like, which goes a long way when you’re staying for more than a night or two. The rooms themselves are spacious and well-designed, though I will say the air conditioning can be a bit aggressive – just something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to temperature changes. Overall, it’s one of those places where the 8.5 rating makes complete sense once you’ve actually stayed there, because everything just works the way it should without any of the little annoyances that can ruin a vacation.

  We stayed at a pool view room with our 3 kids. The place is very well located. Sparkling clean!
  Great staff, nice breakfast. The cave pool bar is Amazing!!! Awesome cocktails and food at the bar.
  
  What to note:
  No connecting doors when coming with kids and taking two rooms.
  
  It's "beach front" but actually it's across the street and it's a public beach… The pics are a bit misleading.
  
  Over all – great hotel for kids! Very well maintained, very clean and welcoming, located in the middle of everything.

  My family and I had an amazing stay at this hotel, which truly exceeded our expectations. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was like a feast, offering a vast variety of choices to suit every taste. The hotel's location was also perfect, within walking distance to the beach and close to convenient amenities like restaurants, pharmacies, and a 7-Eleven store. What's more, the hotel is extremely kid-friendly, featuring a fantastic pool with a waterpark that my little ones absolutely loved. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to families and anyone looking for a great experience – we certainly had a wonderful time here!
