You’re about fifteen minutes from the Big Buddha (which you can actually see from the villa’s upper terrace if you crane your neck a bit), and the Chalong Pier is practically walking distance if you’re planning any island hopping. The location really grew on me because you get this nice residential feel – actual Thai families living nearby, local markets you can wander through, that sort of thing. The four-star rating might seem modest, but honestly, the space and privacy here trumps a lot of fancier resort setups I’ve stayed at in Phuket.

What really makes this place work for families – and I watched several groups come and go during my stay – is how thoughtfully it’s laid out. The three bedrooms are actually separated well enough that kids can be loud in one area while adults decompress in another. The main living space is genuinely huge, with this open-plan setup that doesn’t feel cavernous or impersonal. There’s a full kitchen that’s actually equipped for real cooking, not just the token mini-fridge situation you usually get. The pool area is where everyone ends up spending most of their time though – it’s private, gets good sun most of the day, and there’s enough deck space that you’re not fighting over lounge chairs. I noticed the Wi-Fi is solid throughout the villa too, which matters more than you’d think when you’ve got teenagers who need to stay connected. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the air conditioning units are a bit loud, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs – though honestly, after a day exploring the island, most people sleep like rocks anyway. The staff response time is impressive too; when we had a small issue with the pool filter, someone was there within an hour. It’s that kind of attention that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere special rather than just another rental property.

  We rented a house for one month, we liked everything very much!!! The house has everything you need for a full stay on the island👍 The owner of the house is very responsive and polite, with such people in any situation you can find a compromise😌 thank you very much👏
  
  Upon arrival at the house, the owner of the house provided a set of towels for each person, and a supply of drinking water for a month (and this made us very happy)
  
  The house is clean, all the windows and doors are equipped with insect nets. Also, by our arrival, the gardener mowed the lawn.
  
  The owner of the house can also provide you with a motorcycle if you need it.
