Look, I’ll be honest with you – Patong Triple P isn’t going to win any design awards, but there’s something endearing about this little three-star spot that keeps drawing people back. I mean, when you’re staying in Patong (which, let’s face it, can be pretty overwhelming), sometimes you just want a place that feels unpretentious and gets the basics right.

The location is actually pretty solid – you’re close enough to all the Bangla Road madness that you can stumble back after a night out, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with thumping bass at 3 AM. I’ve stayed here twice now, and what I appreciate most is how the staff actually remembers you. The front desk guy, Som, always asks about my previous trips and genuinely seems to care about whether you’re having a good time. The rooms themselves are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but the air conditioning works consistently (trust me, that’s not always a given in this price range), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. You know what really sold me though? The little balconies. Most rooms have them, and there’s something nice about having your morning coffee while watching Patong wake up below.

The pool area is where this place really shines – it’s small but never feels crowded, probably because most guests are out exploring during the day. I actually met some interesting people hanging out there in the evenings, including a couple from Germany who’d been coming back for five years straight. That tells you something, right? The breakfast is decent enough – typical Thai hotel fare with some Western options thrown in, though honestly, you’re better off grabbing pad thai from the street cart just around the corner for about 60 baht. One thing to keep in mind is that the elevators can be a bit slow during peak times, and if you’re on the higher floors, you might want to factor in a few extra minutes. Also, the WiFi can be spotty in some rooms – it’s fine in the lobby and restaurant, but my room on the fourth floor last time was pretty hit-or-miss. Still, for the price point and the genuine hospitality, Patong Triple P does what it needs to do without any pretense, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re more interested in exploring Phuket than lounging in your room.

  The room was spacious, well fournished and the staff was friendly. It's located close (10min walk) to the center of patong. My room was quite as was facing the back of the building.

  Good location – close enough for a look but far enough away from the seedy streets of Patong. Plenty of shops & food immediately you step out of hotel. Large, clean room, fridge. Asked for a kettle, VG wifi. Only stairs if you need to consider this. Water & toilet paper left every day. Scooter rental close by. 7/11 & Tops across the road. Quiet enough for sleeping. Good hotel for price. Have a cafe on ground floor ( I didn’t use but was popular). Reception good English and helpful
