The location is actually brilliant if you think about it. You’re tucked up on the hillside, so you get these incredible views over Patong Bay without being right in the thick of Bangla Road’s chaos (trust me, after a few nights of that scene, you’ll appreciate the distance). The villa setup is what really makes this place special though – it’s not your typical hotel where you’re stacked on top of other guests. Each unit feels properly private, with these gorgeous outdoor spaces that actually make you want to hang out instead of just rushing off to the beach. The pools – and yes, there are multiple ones – have this infinity edge thing going on that makes your Instagram friends back home properly jealous.

What I really loved was how the staff seemed to anticipate what you needed without being hovering or pushy about it. Like, they’d have fresh towels ready right when you were thinking about heading to the pool, or they’d casually mention the best time to grab a taxi down to the beach (early morning or late afternoon, by the way – avoid the midday rush). The rooms themselves are spacious in that way that makes you realize how cramped most places actually are, with these massive bathrooms that have both a proper shower and a tub you can actually stretch out in. The beds are seriously comfortable too – none of that rock-hard mattress situation you sometimes get in Thailand. Air conditioning works like a dream, which honestly becomes your best friend when you’re dealing with that humid Phuket heat. The only tiny thing I’d mention is that if you’re not great with hills and stairs, just know there’s a bit of walking involved to get around the property – but the views make every step worth it, and there’s always the shuttle service if you need it.
