Patong Heights Overview
You know what really surprised me about Patong Heights? I honestly wasn’t expecting much from another five-star place in Patong – I mean, the area can feel pretty touristy and overdeveloped. But this place actually sits up on the hillside, which changes everything. The moment you pull up (and yes, they have proper parking, thank god), you realize you’re getting those sweeping views over Patong Bay without being stuck in the chaos down below.
The location is sort of brilliant when you think about it. You’re close enough to walk down to the beach and all the restaurants on Bangla Road when you want that energy, but far enough up the hill that you can actually sleep at night. I stayed there during high season in February, and while the beach area was absolutely packed, the hotel felt like this peaceful retreat. The infinity pool – and I know everyone says this, but it really does seem to blend into the ocean view – faces west, so sunset time is pretty spectacular. They’ve got these day beds positioned just right where you can watch the whole show without fighting crowds.
What I really appreciated was how they handled the practical stuff. The rooms are spacious (I had one of the suites with the wraparound balcony), and the air conditioning actually works properly – which honestly can’t be said for every place in Thailand. The bathroom had this rain shower setup that felt genuinely luxurious, not just for show. Staff was attentive without hovering, and the concierge guy – I think his name was Niran – gave me some solid recommendations for local spots that weren’t just the usual tourist traps. He pointed me toward this little seafood place down near the pier that I never would’ve found otherwise. The hotel restaurant is decent too, though you’ll want to venture out for dinner most nights since Patong has so much good food. Breakfast was actually impressive – proper coffee, fresh tropical fruit, and they’ll make eggs however you want them. One small thing that bugged me was the Wi-Fi could be spotty in the evenings when everyone was online, but during the day it worked fine for staying connected. Overall, if you want to experience Patong without feeling like you’re staying in the middle of a carnival, this place strikes that balance really well.
Exploring Phuket offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Thailand’s most beautiful island, from its stunning beaches to its vibrant culture and world-renowned connections to Southeast Asian traditions and tropical paradise.

Everything perfect, from the staff to facilities and location🫶
Also we paid really good money for the hotel and the staff was super attentive and even decorated the room as it was our honeymoon holiday, this was without extra charge.🫶Ioannis from Greece (8/10)
The staff was very kind and attentive. The room was very clean and spacious, bed was huge and the view was fantastic, very comfortable overall. Breakfast was nice, quite basic tho.
Liliya from Bulgaria (9/10)
The hotel is clean, comfortable, and with a great location – equally close to Pathong, Freedom Beach, and Tri Trang Beach. There are good sidewalks, so if you are up to some exercising going up and down the lovely hills of Phuket, it takes only 18 min to reach Freedom/Tri Trang beach and 15 min to reach Patong by foot.
