Park 38 Hotel – SHA Plus Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Park 38 Hotel – SHA Plus, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star place. But you know what? Sometimes these smaller properties surprise you in the best way possible. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that immediately puts you at ease, and the staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which is refreshing when you’re used to those massive chain hotels where you’re just another room number.
What really won me over was how thoughtfully everything’s been designed here. The rooms aren’t huge – I mean, this isn’t a luxury resort – but they’ve made smart use of every inch. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s actually decent water pressure in the shower, which honestly makes or breaks a hotel stay for me. The air conditioning works without sounding like a jet engine, and the blackout curtains actually block out light, something you can’t take for granted these days. I noticed they’ve got those little touches that show someone cares – like proper hangers instead of those awful attached ones, and enough power outlets that you’re not doing gymnastics to charge your phone.
The breakfast setup is solid without being fancy. Fresh coffee, decent pastries, and they’ll make you eggs if you ask nicely. Nothing Instagram-worthy, but it gets the job done and the staff keeps everything stocked even during the morning rush. What I really appreciated was how quiet the place stays – the walls seem properly insulated, so you’re not hearing every conversation in the hallway. The location works well too, though you’ll want to grab a taxi or use the local transport for most sightseeing. There’s a good local restaurant about two blocks away that the front desk recommended (ask for Som – she knows all the best spots), and a convenience store right around the corner for those late-night snack runs. The WiFi is reliable throughout the building, which is more than I can say for some places that cost twice as much. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with amenities, but sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base where everything works as it should. The 8.3 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here – it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense.
Best hotels in Phuket range from luxurious beachfront resorts with private pool villas to boutique hotels in historic Phuket Town and elegant properties overlooking Patong Beach and Kata Beach.

Alot of beautiful and different lizards and squirrel. Spacious.

I've stayed at this hotel many times mostly because it's practically on the grounds of Phuket Hospital. 2 min walk . The rooms are very clean and very basic but serve the purpose just fine. There is a restaurant very close Foodies, who also delivers amazing food at American prices but delish. It's also very close to the big malls. Maybe 10 minutes. It's directly beside the Big C (think WalMart) and the biggest thing for me is that there is a Starbucks in the hospital lobby (don't judge)

It was good for the price. Staff were quite friendly and the room was large. Just what we needed

Dellani from Australia (9/10)
The beds were really comfy and the facilities were super clean. Great for the price. The pool area was always quite and it wasn't often that there would be anyone else there. Great location to walk to Central and really quite despite the busy street.

The place is clean, but a bit old. The room is prettu big and the pool is really nice for chilling. You have big supermarket and a shopping mall very near. The hotel is about 20 minutes driving from the Old town, but you need a scooter or you can use a bus to get there.
Near the big shopping mall there is a bus stop where you can catch a bus to the airport.Patsy from United Kingdom (8/10)
