The name’s a bit of a mouthful, and you know how resort names can sometimes oversell the experience. But this four-star spot actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked into a quieter section of Patong, which means you’re still close enough to stumble back from Bangla Road if that’s your scene, but far enough away that you won’t have tuk-tuks honking outside your window at 2 AM.

What really won me over was how the staff handled the whole SHA Extra Plus thing – honestly, I was expecting it to feel like a medical facility with all the health protocols, but they’ve managed to weave the safety measures into the experience so naturally that you barely notice them. The pool area is where this place really shines though. It’s not massive, but there’s something about the way they’ve positioned it with those palm trees creating little pockets of shade that just works. I spent way too many afternoons there with a Chang beer, watching families splash around while couples claimed the quieter corners. The pool gets busy around 11 AM when everyone’s recovered from the night before, but if you’re an early riser, you’ll have it mostly to yourself.

The rooms are solid – nothing that’ll blow your mind, but everything works properly, which is honestly more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed in Patong. Air conditioning that actually cools the room, hot water that stays hot, and beds that don’t feel like sleeping on concrete. I mean, the décor is pretty standard resort fare, but the balconies have decent views if you’re on the right side of the building. One thing that caught me off guard was how quiet it gets at night – you’d think being in Patong means constant noise, but the way the resort’s positioned creates this little bubble of calm. The breakfast spread is… well, it’s what you’d expect from a mid-range resort, but they do make a proper Thai omelet if you ask, and the coffee’s actually drinkable. Location-wise, you’re looking at about a 10-minute walk to the main beach area, which I actually preferred because it meant avoiding the chaos of the beachfront hotels while still being close enough to everything. The 7.8 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place on the island, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises.
