Air conditioning works properly (which, let’s be honest, matters more than anything else in this climate), and the beds are genuinely comfortable. I stayed in one of their pool view rooms and found myself spending way more time on the balcony than I expected, just watching people drift around the pool area with a coffee in the morning. The bathroom setup is smart too – proper water pressure and they’ve got that rain shower head that actually works, not just for show. One small thing that bugged me initially was the wifi being a bit spotty near the pool, but honestly, maybe that’s not such a bad thing when you’re trying to disconnect anyway.

What really sets this place apart though is the staff – they’re genuinely helpful without being pushy about it. The front desk folks know the area well enough to point you toward the good local spots, not just the tourist traps. They helped me figure out the best times to hit nearby beaches when they’re less crowded, and actually gave me solid advice about which boat tours are worth the money versus which ones are just expensive ways to get seasick. The pool area becomes this really relaxed social hub in the evenings – not party central, but you’ll end up chatting with other travelers over drinks if you’re in the mood for it. I ended up extending my stay by two nights, which I pretty much never do, but the whole vibe just worked for me. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Phuket beach life without all the chaos that comes with staying right in the thick of things.
