I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Palmetto Park Hotel and Residence, I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds sort of generic, you know? But this four-star place actually surprised me in all the right ways. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it, like they focused more on getting the details right than on flashy marketing.

The rooms hit that sweet spot between hotel and apartment living – I mean, the “residence” part of the name isn’t just for show. You get proper kitchenettes that are actually functional (not those sad mini-fridges with a hot plate), and the living spaces feel like someone put real thought into how people actually use hotel rooms. I stayed for five nights and never felt cramped, which is saying something because I’m the type who usually goes stir-crazy in hotels after day two. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious too, with water pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices. What really won me over was the staff’s approach – they’re helpful without being hovering, if that makes sense. Check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about late checkout, they sorted it out without the usual hotel bureaucracy dance.

The whole place has this lived-in elegance that feels genuine rather than staged. You know how some hotels try so hard to look expensive that they end up feeling cold? This isn’t that. The common areas have comfortable seating where people actually sit (revolutionary concept, I know), and there’s enough space that you don’t feel like you’re in everyone else’s bubble. Parking was straightforward – no valet nonsense or circling the block for twenty minutes. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, especially at night, which I appreciated since I’m a light sleeper. Honestly, with an 8.4 rating, I expected it to be good, but it exceeded that in small ways that matter when you’re actually living there for a few days. It’s the kind of place where everything just works without drama – your key card doesn’t randomly stop working, the WiFi doesn’t cut out during video calls, and housekeeping doesn’t wake you up at 7 AM. Sometimes the best compliment you can give a hotel is that it lets you focus on why you’re traveling instead of constantly reminding you that you’re staying in a hotel.

  Новый аппарат-комплекс с бассейном на крыше! Также доступен бассейн в соседнем здании, там же находится и с натяжкой названный тренажерный зал. Аппараты находится далеко от основной трассы, поэтому в номерах тихо. В номерах по 2 кондиционера – один в прихожей, другой в спальне, но мы пользовались одним. Для краткосрочного проживания – прекрасное место. Есть халаты, беспородные зарядки для телефонов, стиральная машина на балконе (за счет чего остается очень мало место на нем и вдвоем там посидеть уже тесно). Для байков и автомобилей есть паркинг. До пляжа Карон 15 минут пешком.

  Локация – супер! До пляжей Ката и Корон можно дойти даже с закрытыми глазами (но лучше с открытыми, всё-таки дороги!).
  Апартаменты – новые, стильные, чистые, уютные. Вид из окна – такой, что хочется задержать дыхание, чтобы не испортить момент.
  Персонал – выше всяких похвал. Всегда помогут, улыбаются, а иногда даже пытаются написать на русском – с ошибками, но это так мило, что прощается всё.

  Мы жили в новом корпусе, на 5 этаже, корпус только открылся, в номере все чистое и новое, редкость для Таиланда! Удобный лифт, хорошие и мощные кондиционеры в обеих комнатах. Шикарная большая кровать, свежее постельное белье. Отличный душ с хорошим напором. В номере (на балконе) стиральная машинка (новая), микроволновка, фен, телевизор хороший, с российскими каналами, сейф. До пляжа Карон идти минут 15, мы брали мопед, доезжали за 5 минут. У пляжа куча классных свежих морепродуктов, ресторанов. Очень рекомендую!

  剛入到房看來整潔度是不錯的 因為我住的是新building
  而且Resort 地方比較偏僻, 出入都一定要靠call 車
  還有提醒一下resort 左右都無餐廳
