Pak Dee At Naithon Overview
You know what, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Pak Dee At Naithon – honestly, the name had me a bit confused about what kind of place this would be. But after spending a few days there, I get it now. This three-star spot sits right in one of Phuket’s quieter corners, and I mean that in the best possible way.
Naithon Beach isn’t like Patong or Kata where you’re fighting for umbrella space – it’s actually one of those places where locals still outnumber tourists most days. The hotel itself feels more like a small collection of apartments than your typical resort setup, which worked perfectly for me since I was planning to do my own thing rather than hang around a pool all day. The rooms are honestly pretty spacious for what you’re paying, and mine had this little kitchenette that came in handy more than I thought it would. I mean, you’re not going to be cooking elaborate meals, but having a fridge and basic setup meant I could grab fresh fruit from the local market and actually keep my drinks cold without paying hotel minibar prices.
What I really appreciated was how the staff just… knew stuff. Like, they didn’t try to upsell me on expensive tours, but when I asked about getting to the Sunday market in Thalang, the guy at the front desk drew me this little map showing exactly where to catch the songthaew and warned me it gets crazy crowded after 10 AM. The beach is literally a five-minute walk down this quiet road – no traffic, no noise, just this gentle slope through some trees until you hit the sand. And honestly, Naithon Beach itself is kind of magical in the late afternoon when the light hits just right and you realize you might be sharing it with maybe twenty other people total. The water’s clean, there’s decent snorkeling if you swim out to the rocky areas on the left side, and there are a couple of local restaurants right on the sand that serve actual Thai prices, not tourist prices. I keep thinking about this som tam I had at one of them – probably the best papaya salad I’ve had outside of Bangkok, and it cost like 80 baht. The hotel’s not fancy by any stretch, and you’ll hear some roosters in the morning (which I actually found charming after the first day), but it’s clean, comfortable, and puts you in a part of Phuket that still feels somewhat authentic. If you’re looking for nonstop action and resort amenities, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a solid base for exploring the island without the crowds and markup, Pak Dee delivers exactly what it promises.
Exploring Phuket offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Thailand’s most beautiful island, from its stunning beaches to its vibrant culture and world-renowned connections to Southeast Asian traditions and tropical paradise.

It is a private complex of apartments by Phanason next to Naithon beach, 24/7 guard on the entrance gate. I stayed in building C on the 4th floor. Check-in is completely remote, self-check in process went fast and smooth for me, you are provided with detailed instructions and photos where and how to find the property and room keys. The apartment is bright and spacious, everything inside looks fresh and new. It has an efficient and quiet inverter AC, fast and stable Wi-Fi connection, hot shower, set of towels, 2 wardrobes, mosquito killing lamp, umbrella, fully equipped kitchen including fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, full set of cutlery and glasses. Despite the fact there is no reception, the host is brilliant, he is always in touch, very helpful and responds via messengers really quickly. Big private parking is available free of charge. Superb location if you'd like to stay in Naithon area, 3-5 min walk to Naithon beach, lots of cafes, restaraunts, massage parlours, pharmacies nearby, although there is only 1 grocery store in a walking distance, if you need 7-eleven or family mart you should drive about 15 min, airport is 15 min drive, Bang Tao area – 15-20 min drive. Naithon beach is wide and nice, don't feel overcrowded, but if you fed up with it, you can go to Banana beach which is only 5 min drive, very nice, small and quiet beach.

The property was easy to find with my taxi driver, once I had the key code, getting into the room was easy too. The room was spacious there was some storage space (could do with some more hangers!). The bathroom was sufficient with a shower. The kitchen had a hot plate and some basic utensils and crockery. Overall, I stayed for a few nights and was satisfied with the property.

A nice apartment at the Naithon beach.
2 minutes walk to the beach, with many restaurants massage shops and everything you need nearby.
The apartment is clean, Well-quipped. Washing machine is so handy. Air conditioner is powerful. All the necessary kitchen utensils. Nice shower. Good wifi.
The host is friendly and communicative, with useful local recommendations.
We headed to the banana beach one day. Better to go in the morning, getting really busy later.
The German restaurant is with good sausages. The good-reviewed Shameena is with nice food and wine. A coffee shed opens at 7am near the Pullman.
