Walking into Pacific Club Resort for the first time, I was honestly surprised by how peaceful it felt despite being right in the heart of Karon Beach. This four-star property sits tucked away on a quiet soi off Patak Road, which means you get that secluded resort vibe without being miles from everything. The lobby has this understated elegance — not flashy, but you can tell they’ve put thought into the details.

Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally a five-minute walk to Karon Beach, but you’re not dealing with the chaos of the main beachfront strip. The resort is positioned on Soi 24, which is one of those little side streets that locals know leads to some hidden gems. You’ve got easy access to the beach during the day, but when you want to grab dinner or explore, the main Patak Road with its restaurants and shops is right there. I mean, couples consistently rate this spot highly for good reason — it strikes that perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility.

Sleep Like You’re at Home

Let me tell you about the beds here — they’re actually incredible. I’m usually pretty picky about hotel mattresses (you know how it is), but I slept better here than I have at some much pricier places. Each room feels spacious without being cavernous, and there’s something about the way they’ve designed the space that just works. The air conditioning is powerful enough for those humid Phuket afternoons, and honestly, the whole setup just makes you want to take those afternoon naps that vacation is made for.

The breakfast buffet here is one of those pleasant surprises you don’t always expect at a four-star property. They’ve got the usual suspects — fresh tropical fruits, Thai dishes, and Western options — but everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. I particularly appreciated that they rotate some of the Thai offerings, so you’re not eating the same pad thai every morning. The dining area opens up nicely, and there’s something satisfying about starting your day with a proper meal before heading out to explore.

  Very nice place with perfect cuisine supply and great service. Breakfast is quite fresh and delicious, clean and warm vibe at the restaurant, staff is friendly and professional. Room is spacious with thoughtful decorations. Nice rooftop pool, sauna room and water therapy. Highly recommend the massage shop inside, delicate technique with decent price.

  Lovely quiet location away from the main resort. No issue with transport to and from Scrupiously clean. From Mr Sun down all the staff are so friendly and helpful. He is in complete control of his empire but has time to speak to all clients.
  June at reception warrants special mention. Always available to advise and help.
  As it was my birthday- we got a free upgrade to a fabulous suite with a spacious balcony and a view to the sea,
  We travelled across Asia to 7 hotels and this was the best we stayed in. Massage here was also top class.
  Mr Sun will be annoyed it took me so long to do this review but we wanted to visit all 7 hotels in 3 countries to confirm this was THE BEST.

  Bathrooms are fabulous. Bedrooms very good size. Inter-connecting balconies (we were asked if we would like doors unlocking) were an addded bonus for our two families. Breakfast was very good – plenty of choice and food regularly replenished. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay and made us feel welcome. Pool area is spectacular. Cleanliness of rooms and public areas is excellent. Peaceful location but only 15 minute walk to centre of Karon. We would defnitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing place to stay and we will return.

  The hotel was amazing, it felt so luxurious and all of the staff were incredible! They couldn’t do enough for you! They even got a huge spider out of our room for us! The manager made you feel really welcome and everyone was always smiling! The beds are super comfy, the room was very spacious, you get plenty of bottled water in your fridge each day, the food was so yummy and one evening we had the entire roof top pool to ourselves! We had the most magical time in Phuket and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
