I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Pacific Club Resort, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another beachside property. Boy, was I wrong. This four-star gem completely changed my perspective on what a resort experience should actually feel like, and I mean that in the best possible way.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between upscale comfort and genuine relaxation. You know how some resorts feel like they’re trying too hard? Pacific Club Resort isn’t one of those. The moment you walk through the lobby, there’s this immediate sense of calm – maybe it’s the way the natural light filters through those huge windows, or how the staff actually remembers your name after day one (and not in that forced, overly-scripted way). The rooms are spacious without feeling cavernous, and honestly, the bed situation is top-notch. I’m talking about the kind of sleep where you wake up confused about what time zone you’re in. The bathrooms deserve a mention too – those rainfall showerheads and the little touches like heated floors make those early morning beach prep sessions so much more bearable.

But here’s what really sold me on the place: the attention to details that actually matter when you’re traveling. The Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously cut out every twenty minutes, the air conditioning works without sounding like a jet engine, and – this might sound silly but it’s huge – they have those bedside USB ports so you’re not crawling around on the floor looking for outlets. The pool area stays surprisingly peaceful even during busy periods, probably because it’s designed with these clever little alcoves where you can actually have a conversation without shouting. And the restaurant? Look, I’ve eaten at plenty of resort dining rooms that serve forgettable food at memorable prices, but their kitchen knows what they’re doing. The seafood tastes like it was swimming that morning, and their bartenders make a mean cocktail without the usual resort markup making your wallet cry. What impressed me most was how smoothly everything runs – check-in was quick, housekeeping is thorough but not intrusive, and when I had a minor issue with the room‘s temperature control, maintenance showed up within fifteen minutes. That 9.5 rating they’ve got? Yeah, I can see why. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

  Very nice place with perfect cuisine supply and great service. Breakfast is quite fresh and delicious, clean and warm vibe at the restaurant, staff is friendly and professional. Room is spacious with thoughtful decorations. Nice rooftop pool, sauna room and water therapy. Highly recommend the massage shop inside, delicate technique with decent price.

  Lovely quiet location away from the main resort. No issue with transport to and from Scrupiously clean. From Mr Sun down all the staff are so friendly and helpful. He is in complete control of his empire but has time to speak to all clients.
  June at reception warrants special mention. Always available to advise and help.
  As it was my birthday- we got a free upgrade to a fabulous suite with a spacious balcony and a view to the sea,
  We travelled across Asia to 7 hotels and this was the best we stayed in. Massage here was also top class.
  Mr Sun will be annoyed it took me so long to do this review but we wanted to visit all 7 hotels in 3 countries to confirm this was THE BEST.

  Bathrooms are fabulous. Bedrooms very good size. Inter-connecting balconies (we were asked if we would like doors unlocking) were an addded bonus for our two families. Breakfast was very good – plenty of choice and food regularly replenished. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay and made us feel welcome. Pool area is spectacular. Cleanliness of rooms and public areas is excellent. Peaceful location but only 15 minute walk to centre of Karon. We would defnitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing place to stay and we will return.

  The hotel was amazing, it felt so luxurious and all of the staff were incredible! They couldn’t do enough for you! They even got a huge spider out of our room for us! The manager made you feel really welcome and everyone was always smiling! The beds are super comfy, the room was very spacious, you get plenty of bottled water in your fridge each day, the food was so yummy and one evening we had the entire roof top pool to ourselves! We had the most magical time in Phuket and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
