I’ll be honest, when I first walked into OneLoft Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much from the name – it sounds sort of generic, you know? But this four-star place actually surprised me in all the right ways. The lobby has this industrial-chic vibe that feels authentic rather than trying too hard, with exposed brick and these gorgeous pendant lights that cast this warm glow in the evenings. The front desk staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests, which is rarer than it should be these days.

What really won me over was how they’ve nailed the details that matter when you’re actually living in a space for a few days. The rooms have this loft-style layout (hence the name, I guess) with high ceilings that make even the standard rooms feel spacious. The beds are seriously comfortable – I’m talking that perfect firmness where you don’t wake up with a sore back. And thank god, the walls are properly soundproofed because I was dreading the usual hotel noise situation. The bathrooms are modern without being sterile, with rainfall showers that actually have decent water pressure. I mean, it’s the little things, right?

The common areas are where this place really shines though. There’s this communal workspace on the ground floor that doesn’t feel forced or corporate – people actually use it, and there’s always this nice buzz of activity without being chaotic. They serve coffee there that’s honestly better than most dedicated coffee shops I’ve been to. The rooftop terrace is probably my favorite spot – it’s not huge, but it’s got comfortable seating and string lights that make evening drinks feel special. You’ll often find other guests up there just chatting, which creates this nice community vibe that’s hard to manufacture. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevators can be a bit slow during peak times, but honestly, with everything else being so well-executed, it’s barely worth mentioning. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like staying at a friend’s really cool apartment than a typical hotel, this is definitely worth considering.

  Unbeatable location, access to both beaches, property provides beach towels, modern decor and materials, comfortable beds and pillows, friendly attentive staff, management is super customer focussed. The two level loft so awesome for sharing with kids. Plenty breakfast options around. Will stay again.

  The hotel location is great! You can easily walk to Karon Beach ou Kata Beach. They provide a bag for you to take to the beach and umbrellas also.
  It looks like a "party" hotel, but was super quiet and family friendly.
