But the moment you step into the lobby, you realize this five-star property actually lives up to its reputation. The whole place has this sophisticated coastal vibe that doesn’t feel forced or overdone, you know? The staff genuinely seemed happy to be there during check-in, which – let’s face it – isn’t always the case at resort hotels.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to balance luxury with that laid-back beach atmosphere. The rooms face directly onto the water (hence the “oceanfront” part, obviously), and I mean directly – you can literally hear the waves from your bed, which is either perfect or potentially annoying depending on how light of a sleeper you are. I actually loved it. The SHA Extra Plus certification means they’re taking health protocols seriously, and honestly, you notice it in the little details – extra spacing in the restaurant, more thorough cleaning between guests, that sort of thing. The pool area is where this place really shines though. It’s got these infinity edges that blend right into the ocean view, and there are enough loungers that you’re not playing musical chairs even during busy periods. I spent way too much time there with a book and probably too many tropical drinks.

The restaurant situation is solid – not groundbreaking, but the seafood is clearly fresh and they know how to prepare it. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the water is honestly worth getting up early for, especially if you can snag one of those corner tables. The service throughout the property runs smoothly without being overly formal or stuffy. Parking was straightforward, which might seem like a minor thing but trust me, it matters when you’re dealing with resort logistics. I’d say the only real downside is that it can get pretty busy during peak season – the pool and beach areas fill up fast, so you’ll want to stake out your spot early if that matters to you. But honestly, for what you get here, the 8.5 rating feels about right. It’s the kind of place where you actually end up relaxing instead of just taking photos to prove you were somewhere nice.

  The breakfast was nice, staff were amazing in particular we dealt with Charlie and Hua the most and they were very kind and helpful. All staff exceeded expectations and treated us with kindness and respect. They met every need and the facilities were great as well. Pool was lovely and exceptionally clean every single day, house keeping left the room looking fantastic each day as well. Really happy with our stay!

  The food was delicious, they made you fresh smoothies for breakfast, great coffee, omelettes etc, for lunch & dinner there were so much choice! And the cocktails was perfect!

  The gym is huge and also has a squash court! You’re about 10 mins from the hustle & bustle of Patong centre, so the hotel is nice & quiet and 13 mins from Kalam where i would definitely recommend to go as there’s a gorgeous restaurant & beach bars there.
