Location-wise, you’re about a five-minute walk down to Kamala Beach itself, which is infinitely more chill than the chaos further south. The road can get a bit steep if you’re hauling groceries back up, but that’s half the charm of staying somewhere that feels genuinely local rather than tourist-manufactured. I noticed the property doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the bigger resorts – the pool is small, there’s no fancy spa, and the front desk isn’t staffed 24/7 – but the trade-off is that you’re paying reasonable rates and getting to experience Kamala as more than just a beach stop. The staff I dealt with were actually helpful rather than just polite, if that makes sense. They pointed me toward this little family-run restaurant tucked behind the main strip that I never would’ve found otherwise. Sure, the 7.3 rating tells you it’s not going to blow your mind, but sometimes a solid, unpretentious place where you can spread out and breathe is exactly what a trip needs.

  The location was within a walk of the beach & shops. A few supermarkets were also within walking distance plus a laundry. The gym was good. Large infinity swimming pool. Lovely view from apartment over Kamala Bay. An added bonus being able to watch Netflix.

  The location was very good as the apartments are close to everything Kamala has to offer. A Big C supermarket is on your doorstep together with an excellent morning market for local Thai food. Restaurants and bars abound within a few minutes walk. The beach is a 5 minute stroll. The view from the sea view balcony was lovely and we often sat there in the early mornings and late evenings taking in the sights and sounds of this less frenetic part of Phuket island.

  The distance from the beach, and the property itself were big advantages, we had a comfy although quite small apartment. The coordinator of the accommodation was very nice and helpful. Shops and small restaurants nearby. The property is new and clean.
