The name isn’t just marketing fluff; you genuinely get these spectacular orange and pink skies reflecting off the pool in the evenings, and there’s something about sipping a Chang beer while watching that show that just hits different.

The eco aspects aren’t just token gestures either – they’ve got proper solar heating for the pool, decent waste separation systems, and the air conditioning actually shuts off automatically when you open the sliding doors (which sounds annoying but works surprisingly well with the cross-breeze). The interior feels properly modern without being sterile, lots of clean lines and natural materials that photograph beautifully if you’re into that Instagram thing. Parking was never an issue, which is a genuine blessing in this part of Thailand, and the villa manager – this lovely Thai woman whose English is way better than my Thai – was incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations and taxi arrangements. The kitchen is fully equipped too, which matters if you want to grab fresh seafood from the Rawai seafood market just down the road and cook it yourself. Only minor gripe? The WiFi gets a bit patchy during heavy rain, but honestly, that might be a blessing in disguise when you’re supposed to be on holiday anyway.
