I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Nature Vista Rawai, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty unassuming building tucked away in this quieter corner of Phuket. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones that don’t feel the need to shout about themselves from the street. This three-star place has that rare quality where everything just… works, and after spending a few nights here, I get why it’s racked up such solid reviews from people who actually stay here.

The thing about Rawai is that it’s not where the party crowd ends up – it’s more where you go when you want to experience something closer to actual Thai coastal life without completely abandoning your creature comforts. Nature Vista sits in this sweet spot where you’re maybe a five-minute walk to some genuinely good local seafood spots along Rawai Beach (the kind where you pick your fish from the ice and they grill it right there), but you’re also far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with constant scooter noise at all hours. I actually slept really well here, which honestly surprised me because I’m usually pretty sensitive to sound when I travel.

What struck me most was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the area – not just the tourist version, but like, where to catch the best sunset without crowds, which longtail boat operators won’t try to overcharge you, that sort of insider knowledge you can’t fake. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without trying to be something they’re not, and there’s this nice little pool area where I ended up spending more time than I expected, just because it catches this perfect afternoon breeze. The whole place has this relaxed vibe where you feel like you can wander around in flip-flops and no one’s judging your vacation hair. I mean, the location really makes it – you’re close enough to hop over to Nai Harn Beach when you want that postcard-perfect sand, but Rawai’s got this working fishing village energy that feels more authentic. Plus, parking was never an issue, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate Patong with a rental car, you’ll appreciate more than you might expect.

  Really beautiful, modern property with a great view. The host was very accommodating, kind and patient. I had an accident on the way so was late checking in and also injured, and she showed a lot of care towards me and patience due to the chaos this caused. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom was really clean and beautiful. Location is great as you have a great view of the beach, and you are off the main road which means you are close to bars, restaurants, shops, but are not disturbed by them.

  The accomodation is new – recently done and the view is amazing! Even though it's a family run business, the accomodation has all equipment you can find in a hotel room (hair dryer, safe, usb socket) and even a small kitchen. Everything is very clean, we had all we needed. The host even organised a taxi for us for when we were leaving.
  The location of the apartment is also very good. You can reach everything by foot near Rawai Beach. This accomodation has definitely been one of the more special and memorable ones we had during our vacation in Thailand.
