Food-wise, the breakfast spread is solid (great local fruit selection), though honestly, you’re missing out if you don’t venture down to the local spots along the beach road. The resort’s restaurant is fine, but Kamala has some incredible little Thai places that cost a fraction of what you’d pay on property.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t a party destination, and that’s actually its strength. The beach is about a five-minute walk down a decent path, and Kamala Beach itself is way more chill than Patong or Kata. You’ll find mostly families and couples here, which keeps the energy relaxed during the day and pleasantly quiet at night. The resort does get busy during high season (December through March), so book the pool loungers early if that matters to you. One small gripe – the Wi-Fi can be spotty in some rooms, which is annoying if you need to get work done. But honestly, maybe that’s not such a bad thing when you’re surrounded by tropical gardens and that endless blue horizon. The whole place just feels thoughtfully put together, like someone actually considered how people want to vacation rather than just cramming in as many amenities as possible.

  The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and we had amazing views. Breakfast is good for a buffet breakfast. The hotel pool is lovely and the shuttle to the beach is ideal. I’d definitely recommend staying here to be away from the noise of busy areas but close enough to taxi to places you want to go.
