The kitchen actually works – I’m talking full-size fridge, decent cookware, the whole thing – which is clutch if you want to grab fresh seafood from the local market and cook it yourself. Speaking of the market, there’s this little morning setup about a ten-minute walk inland where the vendors know their stuff, and the prices are what locals pay, not tourist rates. The apartment’s balcony faces west, so you get these ridiculous sunset views without having to fight crowds or pay restaurant prices for a decent vantage point. Honestly, I spent most evenings out there with a beer from the 7-Eleven down the road, watching the sky change colors over the water. The beach right in front gets busy around lunchtime with day-trippers from other parts of the island, but by late afternoon it’s mostly just a few families and the occasional jogger. One thing to know – the water here can get a bit choppy during certain times of year, but it’s perfect for swimming most months, and the sand is that soft, pale stuff that doesn’t burn your feet even in the afternoon sun. The whole Lofty operation seems pretty well-run too; check-in was smooth, they responded quickly when I had questions, and the place was spotless when I arrived. For what you’re paying, especially considering you’re getting actual beachfront access in a part of Phuket that still feels somewhat authentic, it’s honestly hard to beat.

  De plus, le coin de Nai Thon beach est très agréable avec tout à proximité (petit supermarché, pharmacie, restaurant, …) ce qui en fait une destination parfaite !
