What I really appreciated was the attention to lighting – there are enough options that you can actually read comfortably or create a relaxing atmosphere without being stuck with harsh overhead fluorescents.

The staff here operates with that perfect balance of being helpful without hovering, and they clearly know their property inside and out. Check-in was smooth, no unnecessary upselling or lengthy presentations about amenities I didn’t ask about. The common areas have this relaxed energy where you might actually want to spend time, not just pass through quickly. I noticed they keep the music at a reasonable volume (small thing, but it matters), and there are genuine conversation spots if you’re traveling with someone. The pool area becomes pretty lively during peak hours, but if you prefer quieter moments, early morning or late afternoon are your sweet spots. Parking was straightforward, which saved me the usual dance of circling around looking for a spot. Look, it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but what it does, it does really well – and at this price point, that’s exactly what you want.
