You know what really caught me off guard about Metadee Concept Hotel? I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the name – it sounds a bit corporate, right? But this five-star place completely flipped my expectations. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about every single detail, and I mean every detail. The lighting hits just right, there’s this subtle scent (not overpowering like some places), and the whole vibe feels more like stepping into a carefully curated art installation than your typical hotel.

What really sets this place apart is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between luxury and livability. The rooms – honestly, I’ve stayed in plenty of high-end hotels that feel like beautiful museum pieces you’re afraid to touch. Not here. Everything’s gorgeous, sure, but you can actually sprawl out on that sofa without worrying about messing up some designer’s vision. The bathroom situation deserves its own mention because, well, let’s just say they understand that good water pressure and proper lighting are what actually matter when you’re getting ready for the day. I particularly loved how quiet everything stays, even during what seemed like busy periods – you’d never guess other guests existed, which is exactly what you want after a long day of exploring.

The staff here actually gets it, too. Check-in was smooth without feeling rushed, and throughout my stay, they had this knack for being helpful without hovering. There’s something to be said for places where the team seems genuinely happy to be there – it makes such a difference in the whole experience. The common areas stay interesting without being pretentious, and I found myself actually wanting to hang out in the lobby area rather than just rushing through it. Look, with an 8.6 rating, you know others have figured this out too, but honestly? It feels like one of those places that’s really hitting its stride. If you’re looking for somewhere that takes the whole hospitality thing seriously without being stuffy about it, this is definitely worth considering.

  Pool was amazing. The staff in all areas restaurant, pool bar, reception and the team of housekeeping were very helpful and kind always ready to help you to accommodate to at the best. Room was super clean.

  The hotel was designed well, they had thought it through with extra power points, power points with USB charging plugs, different shower options, like waterfall or standard shower head. Double sinks. They also had a 24/7 service Buggy to pick up and drop off guests to the main road. Breakfast options were great, well worth the 600 baht.

  Room was very spacious, comfortable beds, I liked his & hers vanity in the bathroom. We had access to the pool area, which was nice! Staff were very friendly & helpful. We stayed 3 nights, very close to everything & the shuttle to & from the main street was a bonus as you need after a long day of walking

  The junior suite was amazing – so cool to be by the water immediately from your room. The staff were incredibly nice – they remembered us and were always so friendly. The various restaurants are all great and good value and the pool was never too busy to enjoy.

  My daughter & I stayed in the tranquil villa side of the resort. It was private, peaceful & very lush with tropical gardens & lots of space. The traditional villa style was luxe & stylish. I would definitely stay again. Breakfast catered for every taste. Location was fantastic.

  Everything! The staff were super friendly and attentive if you needed anything. The pool was amazing and it was never ending which was cool. The cleanliness of the hotel room was great and spacious. Definitely would recommend family and friends to stay here.

  The whole hotel was beautiful. So many pools and we really enjoyed wandering through all of the lagoons and exploring the HUGE complex.
  The buffet was nice, lots of choices (Asian and Western), which was nice.
  Having our own private pool in our villa was also amazing.
  We had dinner at the fancy roof top restaurant, which was lovely. And at the standard restaurant, and it was nice.
  
  Some other reviews complained about the walk to the Main Street, but we found it lovely. It was pretty flat if you walk through the villas out their back entrance behind Himmaphan bar, and not far to walk down to the street.
  Plus there was an amazing massage spot right there at the entrance from the street, they were amazing and well priced.
  Go left and there is a close convenience store, go right and walk 1-2km, up past Burger King and you’ll find the night food market. Which was very yum. And lotsa of choices.

  The location was fabulous, only a 10 minute walk to the beach or a short walk to the Main Street. There were buggy services offered all day long for anyone that didn’t want to walk to the street, we had seen reviews that rated the location as bad but honestly don’t know what they were talking about. The pool was amazing, we had a pool access villa and highly recommend this room. The staff were really friendly and especially fussed a lot over our 2 year old. The whole hotel was very tranquil. Breakfast was good and good variety – again had heard bad reviews about the breakfast but I don’t know what more variety you could have asked for.
