You know what caught me off guard about Meroom? The name sounds so modern and minimalist, but when you actually stay there, it’s got this unexpectedly cozy vibe that totally grows on you. I’ll be honest – going into a three-star place, I wasn’t expecting much beyond the basics, but this little spot actually surprised me in some pretty nice ways. The lobby has this sort of understated charm with warm lighting that makes you feel like you’re stepping into someone’s well-designed living room rather than a typical hotel. Check-in was refreshingly quick too, which I always appreciate after a long travel day.

What I really liked about the place was how they’ve managed to create these comfortable spaces without trying too hard to be fancy. If you’re the type of traveler who wants a reliable base without paying premium prices, Meroom hits that sweet spot. Sure, you won’t have a concierge or room service, but you’ll have a comfortable bed, hot water, and friendly service – and sometimes that’s all you really need to recharge for whatever adventure brought you there in the first place.
