The front desk guys actually knew the local bus schedules and could tell you which songthaew routes to take to get to the quieter beaches up north, stuff you won’t find in your guidebook. There’s a small pool area that’s perfect for cooling off in the afternoon heat, and while it’s not Instagram-worthy huge, it does the job when you need a break from the sand and salt. The location puts you close enough to all the Patong action – you can walk to the main beach area in about ten minutes, and the night market is practically around the corner – but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant noise and chaos when you want to decompress. Parking can be a bit tight if you rent a scooter, but there’s usually space if you’re not too picky about squeezing into spots. Honestly, for what you pay and considering it’s Patong (where decent accommodation can get pricey fast), this place delivers solid value without any major headaches.
