The Mai Khao area itself is still relatively undeveloped compared to the chaos of Patong or Kata – you’re looking at wide, empty beaches where you can actually hear yourself think. The airport’s pretty close (and I mean close enough that you’ll hear planes, but honestly it becomes white noise after the first day), which makes transfers super easy but also means this stretch of Phuket hasn’t been completely overrun yet.

The apartments themselves are spacious – like, actually spacious, not hotel-brochure spacious. You’ve got separate living areas, proper-sized bathrooms, and those kitchens I mentioned actually have full-size fridges and decent cookware. The air conditioning works well, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with Phuket’s humidity. What really won me over though was how quiet it gets at night. Sure, you’re not in the thick of the action, but sometimes that’s exactly the point. The staff here seem to genuinely care about the place – they’re not just going through the motions like at some of the bigger resorts. Check-in was smooth, and when I had a minor issue with the Wi-Fi, someone actually came up to fix it instead of just telling me to restart my router.

The beach access is probably the real selling point here. Mai Khao Beach stretches for miles, and during the week you might find yourself with huge sections practically to yourself. It’s one of those beaches where you can take long walks without dodging jet skis or beach vendors every ten steps. The sunsets are genuinely spectacular – I know that sounds like travel brochure speak, but honestly, bring your camera. Parking‘s never an issue if you rent a scooter, and there are a few local spots nearby for decent Thai food that won’t completely destroy your budget. The whole area has this laid-back vibe that’s become harder to find in Phuket these days. Is it the fanciest place you’ll ever stay? Probably not. But if you want space to spread out, easy beach access, and a break from the typical tourist circus, this place delivers exactly what it promises.

  when came, everything was clean, almost everything was in the room what we needed. the host was also super accomodating.

  It's quite and close to the airport. Different swimming pools out of the sun – small one for kids and bigger for adults. Not far from sea – about 15 minutes walk or you can rent a tuk-tuk. Price about 70 baht from condotel to sea. Close to airport viewpoint. Apartment is small but functional. Air conditioning worked good and Internet was fast. Nice view from the window.

  Отличные апартаменты, все есть – плита, стиральная машина, шкаф. Все продумано. Очень чисто. Пешком до моря. Рядом магазины, кафе. Одно кафе прямо в здании в соседнем подьезде. В пешей доступности аквапарк. Заселение супер простое бесконтактное.
