The pool area surprised me too – it’s not huge, but it’s got decent shade and the water’s actually clean, which sadly isn’t a given everywhere around here. I spent a good chunk of one afternoon there just people-watching and reading, and the poolside service was quick enough that my Chang beer never got warm.

The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a well-run three-star – nothing fancy, but everything works and it’s properly clean. The air conditioning is strong enough to handle the humidity (crucial during hot season), and the beds are actually comfortable, not those rock-hard mattresses you sometimes get. The bathroom’s compact but functional, with decent water pressure and hot water that comes quickly. I’ll be honest though, the walls aren’t super thick, so if you get unlucky neighbors, you might hear more than you’d like – but that’s pretty standard for this price range in this area. What I really appreciated was the little fridge that actually got cold and the balcony in my room where I could hang wet clothes and have my morning coffee while watching the controlled chaos of Patong wake up below. For the price point and the location, LullaBella hits that sweet spot where you’re getting good value without any nasty surprises, which honestly is exactly what you want when you’re more focused on exploring Phuket than hanging around your hotel room.

  The best 3* hotel I've ever seen, and I have something to compare it with. I chose it based on the photo, I was attracted by the presence of IKEA style furniture, the presence of a swimming pool and covered parking, I travel on a motorcycle and this is important to me. We were allowed to check into the room 30 minutes early. When checking in, I noticed that there were toothbrushes with toothpaste; I had never seen this before in a 3* hotel. Towels for the beach/pool are issued and changed at the reception, without an appointment, which pleasantly surprised me. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English, which once again indicates a high level of service. I want to return to this hotel, unlike many that I visited in Thailand. Best price/quality ratio.
