There’s something oddly mesmerizing about it, especially if you’re an aviation geek like me.

The rooms are pretty straightforward – nothing fancy, but they’re clean and the beds are surprisingly comfortable for this price range. What I appreciated most was how well they’ve soundproofed the place. I mean, you’re literally next to an active runway, so you’d expect constant noise, but it’s actually quite manageable. You hear the planes, sure, but it’s more of a gentle rumble than the ear-splitting roar you might imagine. The air conditioning works well too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with all that tarmac heat reflection during the day. Staff at check-in were efficient – they clearly deal with a lot of transit passengers, so they’ve got the quick turnaround thing down to a science.

Here’s the thing though – this place really shines for specific types of travelers. If you’ve got an early flight or a long layover, it’s honestly perfect. The location means you can literally roll out of bed and be at your gate in minutes, which saved my bacon during a particularly tight connection last year. But it’s also surprisingly popular with locals who just want a unique dining experience – their restaurant has these massive windows overlooking the runway, and watching sunset flights take off while you’re eating dinner is pretty spectacular. The food’s decent too, nothing groundbreaking but solid comfort fare. I’d definitely recommend requesting a runway-facing room when you book – the price difference is minimal and the view is the whole point of staying here. The 8.6 rating makes total sense to me; it’s not luxury, but it does exactly what it promises really, really well.

  Stayed one night between transfers. Very clean and comfortable, air conditioning and comfortable beds. Tea and coffee in the living area. Near 7/11. The hotel is located next to the airport, but apparently due to the lack of night flights it was quiet. The hotel provides transfers in both directions. I definitely recommend it.

  Proximity to the airport is the obvious reason for staying in this hotel and the fact that they deliver you to departures on request. But it exceeded our expectations. The staff were really helpful and the Thai restaurant next door had delicious food. 7-Eleven is on the other side of the hotel.

  Proximity to the airport and 7/11 a minute walk.
  Domestic airport all the way to Patong or Karon or Kata or Rawai beach 100 baht per person.
  It took me two hours on aircon bus to Kata beach for 100 baht. The owner is so good that even though you are so close to the airport he will pick you up and drop off.

  Very comfortable and clean room, super friendly staff and free airport shuttle made our stay amazing! There was also a 7-eleven supermarket and some restaurants nearby. Perfect place for a short stay!
