I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Lime Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star place. You know how it is with mid-range hotels, they can go either way. But this one actually surprised me in the best possible way. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe without trying too hard to be trendy, and the staff at check-in were genuinely friendly (not that rehearsed hotel smile thing).

What really won me over was how they’ve managed to make everything feel fresh and well-maintained despite clearly being a smaller operation. The rooms are compact but smartly designed – I mean, they’ve actually thought about where you’d want to plug in your phone and put your coffee cup in the morning. The beds are surprisingly comfortable too, which honestly matters more to me than fancy marble bathrooms. Speaking of bathrooms, theirs are spotless with decent water pressure, though don’t expect a rain shower or anything fancy. The Wi-Fi works properly throughout the building (tested it in the lobby, room, and even the hallways because I’m that person), and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on your roof.

Here’s the thing about this place – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, and that’s refreshing. You’re not paying for a concierge or a fancy restaurant, but you’re getting a solid, clean place to sleep with staff who seem to actually care about doing their job well. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period and never felt like the service suffered for it. The breakfast is simple but good quality – proper coffee, fresh pastries, nothing too elaborate but done right. Parking was easy enough, and the neighborhood felt safe walking around in the evenings. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. It’s one of those places that delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises, which in my book makes it a winner for the price point.

  It a nice small hotel, new paint job, but still aged, nice small pool with some shade in areas all day. A/con rooms and restaurant. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We had a late flight but they were fully booked and could not offer a late check-out so they let us stay by the pool and use the shower, toilet and towels to clean up ready for our flight.
