The resort’s pool area flows almost seamlessly toward the beach, and I found myself losing track of where the property ended and the natural coastline began. Their beachfront restaurant actually serves some of the best tom yum I had during my entire stay in Thailand – which surprised me because resort food can be hit or miss, you know? The staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff about local ingredients and weren’t just going through the motions with tourist-friendly versions of Thai dishes.

I stayed during shoulder season in May, so it wasn’t packed, but even the busier areas like the main pool never felt crowded. The resort’s pretty spread out, which means you’re walking a bit to get around, but honestly that just adds to the tropical resort experience. Check-in was smooth – they had that thing down to a science without feeling rushed or impersonal. Parking was easy if you’re renting a car to explore the island, though honestly the resort’s location means you can walk to some decent local spots for dinner if you want to venture beyond the property. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the beach can get a bit choppy during certain tidal conditions, but that’s just Phuket’s west coast for you – nothing the resort can control, and the pool is right there anyway.
