Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart though – the location puts you right in that sweet spot where you’re close enough to the action but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. I could walk to some really solid local restaurants (there’s this little seafood place about five minutes away that the front desk recommended – definitely ask them about it), but I wasn’t dealing with the noise and crowds of the main tourist strips. The 9.5 rating this place has earned makes total sense once you spend a few days there. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well. The kind of place where you end up extending your stay because it just feels right, you know?
