The whole vibe here is exactly what you’d hope for from somewhere calling itself “vintage” – they’ve actually committed to the aesthetic without making it feel like a theme park. I mean, the lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling with genuinely interesting antique pieces scattered around (not the mass-produced “vintage look” stuff you see everywhere). The staff seemed to actually know the history behind some of the decor when I asked, which was refreshing. Check-in was smooth enough, though I did notice they get pretty busy around 3 PM when everyone’s trying to get their rooms at once. My room had this great mix of old-world charm and modern comfort – the bed was seriously comfortable, and honestly, the bathroom was better than I expected. The lighting was thoughtful too, which sounds like a small thing until you’re trying to actually read or get ready in the evening.

What really won me over, though, was how the place feels during different parts of the day. Mornings are quiet and peaceful – perfect for coffee on whatever outdoor space you can find – but evenings have this gentle buzz of activity that makes you want to stick around rather than head out immediately. The restaurant isn’t trying to be fancy, but the food is solid and the portions are reasonable (always a concern at resort places). I noticed quite a few repeat guests during my stay, which usually tells you something good about a place. The whole property has this relaxed energy that makes it easy to unwind, whether you’re the type who wants to explore or just wants to disappear for a few days. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with cutting-edge amenities or over-the-top luxury, but sometimes you just want a place that feels genuine and comfortable. The 7.5 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of spot that does what it promises well, without any major surprises good or bad. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a retreat than a hotel, and you appreciate places with actual character over cookie-cutter perfection, you’ll probably really enjoy your time here.

  Excellent location, quiet non through road so no traffic noise. Short walk to all necessities. Nice local bar opposite and cheap but excellent restaurant opposite the bar as well. Quiet room on the ground floor overlooking the pool. Food served was perfect. Nice breakfast that was not overly busy and always had everything available. Excellent value for money, would definitely book again.

  The first that I didn't like that pillows smelled unpleasant. I told to the receptionist, they changed it. Thanks for fast response. Moreover, the room was old, it requires renovation. Location is good, not far from Bangla, but there wasn't any noice from the night life.

  Good location for NYE in patong.
  Based on how insane the area was for new years , it’s a miracle that this hotel remains quiet enough to sleep.
