La Vintage Resort Overview
First Impressions
Walking into La Vintage Resort, you immediately get that “boutique meets tropical” vibe that’s honestly pretty hard to find in busy Patong Beach. The lobby has this vintage-inspired design — think dark woods and brass accents — that somehow works perfectly against the backdrop of swaying palms outside. It’s a four-star property that doesn’t try too hard to be something it’s not, which I actually appreciate after staying at some of those over-the-top places around town.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about the location — it’s tucked away on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pee Road, which means you’re close enough to all the Patong action but far enough to actually get some sleep. I mean, couples seem to love it here (they rate the location 8.8, which is pretty impressive), and I can see why. You can walk to the beach in about five minutes, but you’re not dealing with the constant noise from Bangla Road. There’s free parking too, which is honestly a godsend if you’re planning to rent a scooter or car to explore the rest of Phuket.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had that same vintage aesthetic as the lobby — dark wood furniture, warm lighting, and these little touches that make you feel like you’re somewhere special rather than just another beach hotel. The air conditioning works well (crucial in this heat), and the bathroom is spacious enough that you’re not bumping into everything. What I really liked was the balcony — not huge, but perfect for that morning coffee while you’re deciding whether to hit the beach or the pool first.
Food & Dining
Breakfast here is actually pretty solid — they do this buffet spread with both Asian and American options, so whether you want pad thai or pancakes at 8 AM, you’re covered. The restaurant area overlooks the pool, and honestly, it’s one of those spots where you end up lingering longer than planned. I found myself grabbing dinner there a couple times just because it was easy and the food was better than I expected from a hotel kitchen. The dining experience here truly sets it apart from other properties in the area.
Why Guests Love It
Look, La Vintage Resort isn’t going to blow your mind with crazy amenities or over-the-top service, but that’s sort of the point. It’s comfortable, well-located, and has enough character to feel special without being pretentious. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay pleasant — not in that scripted way, but like they actually want you to enjoy Phuket. For the price point and location, especially if you want to be near Patong’s energy without being right in the middle of the chaos, this place really delivers.
Exploring Phuket offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Thailand’s most beautiful island, from its stunning beaches to its vibrant culture and world-renowned connections to Southeast Asian traditions and tropical paradise.

Scott from United Kingdom (9/10)
Excellent location, quiet non through road so no traffic noise. Short walk to all necessities. Nice local bar opposite and cheap but excellent restaurant opposite the bar as well. Quiet room on the ground floor overlooking the pool. Food served was perfect. Nice breakfast that was not overly busy and always had everything available. Excellent value for money, would definitely book again.
Travis from Australia (7/10)
Great location, fantastic gym with good quality machines, two small but good pools with shade in the afternoon, good comfy beds and pillows.

Arlan from Kazakhstan (7/10)
The first that I didn't like that pillows smelled unpleasant. I told to the receptionist, they changed it. Thanks for fast response. Moreover, the room was old, it requires renovation. Location is good, not far from Bangla, but there wasn't any noice from the night life.

Good location for NYE in patong.
Based on how insane the area was for new years , it’s a miracle that this hotel remains quiet enough to sleep.John from United Kingdom (9/10)
Even though the hotel was in the hart of Patong it was quiet at night and security was excellent.
