I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Katamanda – Villa Katamalee Private Pool near Kata Noi Beach, I thought the name was a mouthful, but after spending time there, I get why they needed all those words. This place is actually tucked away in one of those perfect spots where you’re close enough to Kata Noi Beach to walk there in flip-flops, but far enough up the hillside that you feel like you’re in your own private world.

The villa itself has that authentic Thai architecture thing going on – you know, the kind with rich wooden beams and those gorgeous peaked roofs that photograph beautifully but also actually keep the place cool during the day. What really sold me though was stepping out onto the terrace and seeing that private pool stretching out with views over the jungle canopy. I mean, you can literally float on your back and watch the sunset paint the sky while listening to the distant sound of waves from Kata Noi below. The four-star rating might seem modest, but honestly, this felt more luxurious than some five-star places I’ve stayed – sometimes it’s about the experience, not the thread count on the sheets (though those were pretty nice too).

What I loved most was how the staff – and I think there were only three or four people running the whole operation – treated the place like it was their own home. They’d remember that I liked my coffee strong in the morning and would casually mention when the best time to hit the beach was based on the tide. Kata Noi itself is one of those beaches that hasn’t been completely overrun yet; it’s quieter than nearby Kata Beach, with cleaner sand and way fewer vendors trying to sell you stuff every five minutes. From the villa, you can actually take this little pathway that winds down through someone’s backyard (don’t worry, it’s official) and pop out right onto the less crowded northern end of the beach. The whole setup just works – you get that secluded villa vibe when you want to chill by your own pool, but you’re not stuck up on some isolated hilltop when you want to grab dinner or explore. I ended up extending my stay by two days, which honestly wasn’t the plan, but when you find a spot that just clicks, you know?

  Прекрасная дизайнерская вилла. Много места, чистый бассейн. На кухне есть вся необходимая посуда и оборудование, уборка каждый день. Кондиционер и вентиляторы есть и на кухне и в зоне отдыха. Прекрасный вид на бухту, закаты на Пхукете фантастические. Вилла 2 этажа, спальни находятся на 1м, вход в зону отдыха с улицы. Много лежаков с удобными матрасами и полотенцами. Много ресторанов находится выше виллы в 3х минутах езды. На вилле много цветов, приятный бонус. Фото соответствует действительности.

  Die Villa ist ein Traum, sehr hell, sehr großzügig und mit fantastischem Pool. Alles wurde täglich gereinigt und gepflegt und uns jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Die Lage ist etwas oberhalb von Kata Noi Beach in einer gesicherten und sehr gepflegten Villensiedlung. Kurzer Fußweg zum Strand.

  La villa est grande, la vue est magnifique.
  Le ménage est fait tous les jours. La dame qui le fait est super gentille.
  Les personnes qui s'occupent de la villa sont très accessible. On communiquait par whatsapp. Et si on avait des questions, elles nous répondaient rapidement.
