What really got me was how thoughtfully everything’s arranged inside. The penthouse feels more like a friend’s really well-designed apartment than a typical hotel room. There’s this open-plan living area that flows naturally onto the terrace, and honestly, I spent most of my mornings out there with coffee just watching the longtail boats cut across the water below. The kitchen‘s actually functional too – I mean, you could cook a proper meal if you wanted, though with all the incredible Thai food down in Kata, why would you? The bedroom’s positioned so you wake up to that sea view, and the bathroom… well, let’s just say the rain shower with ocean views is something you don’t forget quickly.

I have to mention the location because it’s really something special. You’re up high enough to escape the bustle of Kata Beach proper, but it’s literally a five-minute walk down to all the restaurants and beach action. The climb back up is a bit of a workout after a big dinner, I’ll admit, but that’s probably a good thing. What surprised me most was how quiet it stays up there – even during high season, you get this sense of being completely removed from everything while still being right in the heart of things. The property management was pretty seamless too; check-in was straightforward, and they actually know the area well enough to give you those insider tips that matter. With an 8.7 rating, you’d expect quality, but this place delivers it in ways that feel authentic rather than flashy. It’s definitely one of those spots where you end up extending your stay if you can manage it.

  The views from the apartment are amazing. Sunrise to sunset, there was never a moment to not sit outside and take in the beautiful views. Location was great too, so close to all shops and the beach. It was a haven to come back to every time we ventured out. Great option for a family with older children.

  We absolutely loved this accommodation. We were in the penthouse with the private pool. The area was super spacious – a beautiful outdoor area with some sun beds & an outdoor table. Inside was two bedrooms with a really spacious living area/kitchen in the middle. We actually loved hanging out at the apartment – a few stairs to the top but was worth it. It's a close walk to the main area of Kata so lots of restaurants/massage parlours/convenient stores. Easy to get around & the beach was a short walk which was nice. We would highly recommend this accommodation and would come back ourselves.
