I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Karon View Apartments, I wasn’t expecting much from what sounded like just another apartment complex. But you know what? This place completely changed my perspective on what a four-star property in Phuket can offer. The name gives it away really – the views from here are absolutely spectacular, and I mean the kind that make you stop mid-conversation to just stare out at the Andaman Sea.

What really struck me about this place is how it manages to feel both elevated and accessible at the same time. The apartments themselves are genuinely spacious – not that cramped hotel room feeling where you’re tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. I actually found myself cooking breakfast a few mornings (there’s proper kitchen space, which is rare) while watching the sunrise paint the water different shades of orange and pink. The Phuket coastline from up here… well, it’s one of those views that makes your Instagram followers incredibly jealous. The building sits high enough that you get this sweeping panorama, but you’re still close enough to Karon Beach that the walk down takes maybe ten minutes – fifteen if you’re feeling leisurely about it.

What I really appreciated – and this is something you only notice when you’re actually staying somewhere – is how quiet it gets at night. You’re removed from the main strip where all the bars and restaurants create that constant buzz, but honestly, you’re not missing out on anything because the good spots are still totally walkable. I’d usually grab dinner down near the beach (there’s this little seafood place that locals frequent – no tourists in sight) and then come back up to the apartment to unwind. The staff here actually remember your name after a couple days, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re dealing with the usual travel hassles. Check-in was smooth, parking was never an issue, and the whole place just feels well-maintained without being sterile. That 9.2 rating honestly makes sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place on the island, but everything works exactly as it should, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  This is undoubtedly a place that exudes warmth and beauty. We had the pleasure of witnessing the most stunning sunsets in Phuket right from our accommodation. The landlord and his wife's hospitality and the thoughtful preparations they made for us provided a comforting embrace amidst unexpected travel circumstances. The tranquility of this location allows for a serene retreat, and the amenities are well-appointed. Moreover, shopping and dining options are conveniently accessible in the vicinity!

  The Appartment was fantastic. On arrival the floors were sparkling clean as was the entire room. The air-condition was one of the best I've used in a long time which is a great thing in Phuket. The location seemed a little out of the way at first, but we quickly came to appreciate the relief from all the noisy traffic and annoying Doof doof Tuk-tuks that it provided. There is also range of excellent restaurants on the street all within very close walking distance so in hindsight we couldn't fault it.
  Me and the family had a great time here and would highly recommend it to anyone considering.

  First thoughts on arriving at the appartment was 'Wow'. The appartment is huge, spacious, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and well equipt with everything you need for a stay. Communication with James was excellent from the initial booking to the end of our stay. We were a family of 5, the location for us was brilliant, lovely and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the main area of Karon beach, close enough though to the beach and all local restaurants and bars at this end of Karon Beach. The apartment was cleaned regularly with changes of linen and towels and the added bonus of having a washing machine was great.
  James sorted us a transfer from the airport which really helped, especially when arriving in the evening after a long flight.
  Easy to get to other areas such as Kata, Patong and Kamala beach.
