Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages, and this five-star property absolutely floored me with its combination of genuine Thai hospitality and that killer ocean view that gives it its name.

The thing about staying right on Karon Beach is that you’re getting one of Phuket’s most underrated stretches of sand – I mean, everyone flocks to Patong for the party scene, but honestly, Karon has this perfect balance where you can actually hear the waves at night instead of thumping bass lines. The apartment sits close enough to the shore that you’ll wake up to the sound of surf, and during the quieter morning hours (before the day-trippers arrive), you can practically have that gorgeous white sand to yourself. The staff here actually knows the beach rhythms too – they’ll tell you the best times to grab a spot under the casuarina trees or when the local vendors show up with the freshest coconuts.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between apartment-style independence and proper hotel service. The rooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped after a week, and honestly, having a kitchenette means you can grab fresh ingredients from the local market (it’s just a quick walk inland) without relying on resort restaurants for every meal. The view from most units is genuinely spectacular – not one of those “partial ocean view” situations where you’re craning your neck around a building. We’re talking straight-on blue water stretching to the horizon, especially beautiful during those famous Andaman sunsets when everything turns gold and pink. The balconies are actually big enough to sit comfortably with your morning coffee, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re settling into vacation mode. I noticed they keep the common areas immaculate without being fussy about it, and the whole property has this relaxed energy that matches Karon’s laid-back vibe perfectly. You’ll find yourself just a few minutes’ walk from some excellent local restaurants – the Thai places tucked behind the main strip serve food that’s actually spicier and more authentic than the beachfront spots. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay because leaving feels premature, if you know what I mean.

  Location incredible, stunning beachfront property and Etienne the owner was amazing , so helpful with any information needed.It was also my son's birthday while there and his bed was decorated with balloons that read 19 and a bottle of champagne was left in fridge , such a lovely thought.

  Excellent location – beachfront, beautifully presented and the owner kept checking in via messages. Information about the property and surrounding area sent prior to arrival including videos. Welcome fruit was a nice touch. Extra towels, smart tv and amazing pool. Full kitchen and outdoor entertaining area.

  It's all starts with the desire to provide good service. Ettiene was very helpful, attentive to every request, and in every hour.
  The apartment was super clean, full of all the necessary equipment, and suitable for us as a family of five.

  This place was such a nice place to stay. We had a lovely welcome basket of fresh fruits, snacks and cold drinks our arrival. The location of the apartment was fantastic. The residence pool was just outside our patio door and beach literally across the road. And were also able to use the hotel swimming pool and facilities.
  The apartment was clean, spacious and it was nicely furnished, a comfortable base from which to explore the local area.
  Lots of nearby restaurants, shops and bars really made this a great place to stay. A bit less busy than the Patong area, but this suited our family holiday.
  Ettiene's communication from before we arrived to when we left was brilliant. He was happy to answer all our questions and organise our transfer to the airport. The provided information link he sent was useful with good tips and ideas. He also checked in with us to make sure all was fine during our stay.

  Beautiful place located right across the road from the beach. Very spacious and comfortable with easy access to the pool. Great host who was proactive and friendly in all aspects and easily contactable.

  The apartment is spacial , direct to the pool of the residence , you just across the road and the beach is there . Many restaurants in walking distance. you have everything available to use , very convenient. Ettiene is very responsive et nice to check if everything goes well. We had a small problem during the stays , he resolved it immediately. A nice place to stay !

  An excellent stay experience! The apartment's location is just perfect, right by Karon Beach, offering breathtaking views of the beach from both the living room and the patio. There are numerous restaurants and small shops nearby, making it incredibly convenient. Our landlord, Ettiene, was exceptionally accommodating. Prior to check-in, Ettiene provided comprehensive information about the apartment, the surrounding area, and even recommended car vendors.
  
  I had requested Ettiene in advance to prepare extra towels, and we had an abundance of towels. The rooms in the apartment are impeccably maintained, with a sense of newness and cleanliness and tasteful decorations adding to the charm.
  
  PS: Although nearby restaurants lacked air conditioning, we opted to get take-away and enjoy it in the apartment, which was perfect and cozy. The dining room table was long and spacious, providing an ideal setting for family meals under the super cool air-con.
