The location is just perfect for exploring this part of Phuket without feeling overwhelmed. You’ve got Big Buddha about fifteen minutes up the hill – definitely worth the trip, especially around sunset. Kata Beach is maybe a ten-minute walk south if you want something a bit more intimate than Karon’s long stretch. I actually preferred Kata for swimming since the waves were gentler, but Karon was better for those long morning walks where you can just zone out. The apartment building itself feels more like a boutique property than some massive resort complex, which I loved. There’s something refreshing about not having to navigate crowds just to get to your room. Parking was never an issue either – they’ve got a proper spot for you, which anyone who’s driven around Phuket will appreciate.
