I’ll be honest – I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Karon Beach Residence, but this place completely surprised me. You know how sometimes you book a hotel online and cross your fingers? Well, this was one of those pleasant shocks where everything actually exceeded what the photos promised. The four-star rating feels almost modest when you see what you’re getting here.

What really got me was the attention to detail that you don’t usually find at this price point. The rooms have this thoughtful design where they’ve managed to feel both modern and warm – not that sterile hotel vibe that makes you feel like you’re sleeping in a showroom. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathrooms have proper water pressure, which honestly makes or breaks a stay for me. But here’s the thing that really impressed me – the staff remembers your name after day one, and not in that forced, corporate training way. They actually seem to care about whether you’re having a good time.

The location is pretty brilliant too, though you might not realize it at first glance. You’re close enough to the main Karon Beach strip that you can walk to restaurants and bars without breaking a sweat, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the noise and chaos when you want to relax. I mean, I could actually sleep in without being woken up by scooters and tour groups at dawn – that’s rare in this area. The pool area becomes this perfect little sanctuary in the afternoons when the beach gets too intense. And speaking of the beach, it’s maybe a seven-minute walk, tops. I timed it because, well, these things matter when you’re hauling beach gear back and forth. The whole setup just works – you get that resort feeling without the resort prices or the crowds of kids running around screaming (not that there’s anything wrong with kids, but sometimes you want peace, you know?). With a 9.8 rating from other guests, I can see why people keep coming back here. It’s one of those places that gets the basics right and then adds just enough special touches to make you remember why you loved traveling in the first place.

  First of all – people. Friendly, helpful, responsive.
  The location is just 10 mins walk to Karon beach. Plenty of places to eat, massage, 7/11 around. A nice private pool. Elevator. Parking. Cleaning. Kitchen. Everything was new and of a good quality.

  10 out of 10, the most beautiful room in Phuket we have been. We booked 2 bedrooms but look like we had a big pool villa, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and big living room. Firstly we got massages from owner via Booking.com and we could enter the room after 2 pm. just press the correct passcode in the digital doorlock, no key provided. The room area is huge with a swimming pool and a big terrace for sunbathing plus a tropical view of giant trees to separate the room from the other building nearby, what we liked the most was the atmosphere of peaceful tropical at the pool area then only a footstep into the living room we felt like a stay in the modern decorated homey villa, there was 2 meters electric fireplace with the sound of charcoal burning in front of the big comfort sofa, the kids like it the most. They gave us the 6-seat dining table which is more than enough for us and our guests to cook in the built-in kitchen and a 2-door fridge with all necessary kitchen appliances. The bedrooms are very clean with a big screen smart TV for each room, it is a real king bed with high-quality sleeping set, surprisingly they gave 2 body pillows and 2 blankets like in our home 🙂 The bathrooms are really pretty with white theme and one even had a forest view.
  The location is very near to Karon Beach only 3 mins drive from the property, we stayed with little girls who enjoy running around the big room so not to make us too crazy 😉 we brought them to the beach twice a day so easily.
  We had good discount from Booking.com this time which was an incredible price, our girls did not want to go home even though we got the late check-out at 2 pm. Next time we will back again.

  Die Unterkunft ist genauso wie auf Bilder. Absolute 10 von 10! Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und unkompliziert. Geschäfte sind ca. 5-10 min entfernt.
