The kitchen actually has proper appliances (not those tiny hotel fridges that barely fit a water bottle), and both bedrooms have decent air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine taking off.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Phuket can be… well, let’s just say it’s not always the most peaceful place to sleep, but this spot manages to feel removed from all that. The seaview is legitimately spectacular too – not one of those “if you crane your neck and squint, there’s a sliver of blue” situations. You wake up, make coffee, step outside, and there’s this gorgeous expanse of turquoise that changes color throughout the day. I found myself just sitting out there way longer than I planned, watching the longtail boats head out in the morning. The whole place has this relaxed, almost residential vibe that’s hard to find in the more touristy parts of the island. It’s the kind of setup where you could actually live for a week or two without feeling like you’re camping out in a hotel room – and honestly, with a perfect 10 rating from previous guests, I’m not surprised other people have figured this out too.
