Kalima Resort and Spa Overview
You know what really struck me about Kalima Resort and Spa? It’s one of those places where you can tell they actually thought about how people want to feel when they’re trying to escape everything. I mean, this five-star property has that perfect balance – luxurious enough that you feel pampered, but not so stuffy that you’re afraid to put your feet up.
The spa here is honestly incredible, and I’m usually pretty skeptical about hotel spas. But they’ve got this whole wellness philosophy going on that feels authentic rather than just trendy. The treatment rooms have this amazing natural light, and the therapists – well, they actually know what they’re doing instead of just going through the motions. I had this traditional Thai massage that left me feeling like I’d been reset from the inside out. The pools area is another highlight – there’s this infinity pool that seems to just melt into the horizon, and even during busier times, it never felt crowded because of how they’ve designed the space.
What I really appreciated was the attention to those little details that most places overlook. The rooms have these gorgeous wooden accents and the kind of bedding that makes you want to just sink in and stay there all day. The bathrooms are spacious with these deep soaking tubs – perfect after a day of exploring. Food-wise, they’ve got several restaurants on property, and the breakfast spread is actually impressive without being overwhelming. I particularly loved their evening dining options; the seafood was incredibly fresh and the presentation was beautiful without being pretentious. The staff here seems genuinely happy to help too, which makes such a difference – they’re knowledgeable about the area and can point you toward hidden gems that aren’t in all the guidebooks. With an 8.8 rating, it’s clear I’m not the only one who thinks this place gets the balance right between luxury and comfort. It’s the sort of resort where you could easily spend your entire vacation without ever feeling restless or bored.

Reviews of Kalima Resort and Spa
Henry from United States (9/10)
Practically everything about this location was the best. I stayed at 5 different hotels during my trip to Phuket, and I can confidently say Kalima resort was my #1. Yeah, there really isn’t anything walking distance like a 711 or restaurants, cafes, BUT what they provide you here is top notch. The breakfast was the best I ever had. They had so many options which my partner and I loved.

Very upmarket… lovely rooms and facilities… big choice at breakfast. Drinks and food a little expensive but you expect that in a 5 star hotel.
