The whole place has this relaxed vibe that honestly surprised me for a four-star property. It’s not trying too hard to be fancy, which I appreciate. The rooms are spacious – and I’m talking genuinely spacious, not that “cozy” nonsense you sometimes get sold – with these huge windows that let in tons of natural light. The air conditioning actually works properly too, which sounds basic but trust me, you’ll be grateful when it’s 35 degrees and humid outside. What really impressed me was the attention to small details: good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and USB ports right by the bed. Someone clearly thought about what travelers actually need.

The pool area is where this place really shines though. It’s this peaceful little oasis where you can hear the city buzz in the distance but feel completely removed from it. I spent most of my mornings there with coffee, watching the palm trees sway – sounds cheesy, but it genuinely became my favorite part of each day. The staff remembers your drink order after like two days, which is a nice touch. And here’s something you won’t find in most descriptions: the sunset views from the upper floors are absolutely stunning. We’re talking those Instagram-worthy shots of the Andaman Sea turning gold, but you know what? Even better in person. The location puts you within walking distance of the beach – it’s maybe a seven-minute stroll down some side streets that give you a glimpse of local life beyond the tourist bubble. Plus you’re close enough to all the restaurants and markets without being right in the middle of the tourist madness. Honestly, after staying at places right on the main strip before, I’d choose this setup every time.

  The villa was fantastic – spacious and clean and having a private pool that faces the sea was really nice too. Housekeeping was done everyday and the host (Celine) made sure that we had all we needed. She also went above and beyond to help us order water and book taxis at a very reasonable price.
