The staff genuinely smiled (not that forced hotel smile), and check-in was refreshingly quick without feeling rushed.

What really won me over was how thoughtfully everything’s laid out. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re designed smart – good lighting where you need it, outlets in logical spots, and the air conditioning actually works properly, which honestly can be hit or miss in this price range. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel back ache, and the bathroom has decent water pressure. I mean, these sound like basic things, but you’d be amazed how many places get them wrong. The balcony views vary depending on which side you’re on, but even the less scenic ones give you a nice breeze in the evenings.

The pool area is where this place really shines though – it’s not massive, but it’s clean and never felt overcrowded, even when I was there during what seemed like a busy period. There’s enough shade if you’re not a full-sun person, and the poolside service is surprisingly attentive. The restaurant serves solid local dishes alongside the usual international options, and their breakfast spread covers all the basics without trying to be fancy. What I appreciated most was the overall vibe – it’s relaxed without being sleepy, and you get the sense that both locals and travelers feel comfortable there. For the price point, it delivers way more than it promises, which is honestly rare these days. If you’re looking for something reliable without breaking the bank, this place gets it right.
