The lobby has this gorgeous scent that I swear changes throughout the day, something floral in the morning that shifts to something warmer and spicier by evening.

What really sold me on the place was how the staff seemed to actually know the area – not just the tourist spots, but the little family-run restaurants tucked away in the side streets, the best time to hit the local markets, that sort of thing. The pool area becomes this perfect refuge during those blazing afternoon hours when even the locals disappear indoors. I spent way too much time there with a book, listening to the distant hum of motorbikes and street vendors while staying completely cool and comfortable. The rooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped if you need to escape inside during a sudden downpour (and trust me, those tropical storms come out of nowhere). Honestly, with that 8.9 rating, you’re looking at a place that consistently delivers without the pretentious attitude you sometimes get at high-end properties.   loved the staff in the restaurant, Dada was exceptional, so attentive to all customers whilst giving her time to Alice the trainee, she is a serious asset to this hotel,, also loved the rooftop pool and the overall cleanliness of this hotel.
