I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Hidden oasis Spacious luxury, 50 meter from Surin Beach, I thought it was a bit of a mouthful, but you know what? It actually delivers on every word of that promise. This four-star place is tucked away just far enough from the main beach chaos that you feel like you’ve discovered something special, but close enough that you can literally hear the waves when you step onto your balcony.

The location is what really got me – I mean, fifty meters from Surin Beach sounds good on paper, but when you’re there, it hits different. You can skip the whole sunbed-claiming drama at dawn because honestly, you’re so close you can just pop back and forth whenever you want. The beach itself is this gorgeous stretch of white sand that’s somehow managed to stay relatively low-key compared to Patong (thank goodness), and the water has that perfect turquoise thing going on that makes every photo look like you’ve oversaturated it. What I loved is that you get the local vibe here – there’s this little temple just up the road that the monks walk past every morning, and the sound of those bells mixing with the ocean is actually pretty magical.

The rooms themselves are genuinely spacious, which is refreshing because let’s face it, a lot of places promise space and deliver a shoebox. The air conditioning works like a dream – crucial in that humidity – and the beds are the kind where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed. I particularly appreciated the little touches, like how they’ve positioned the furniture so you can see the ocean from multiple angles, and the bathroom setup that doesn’t make you feel like you’re playing Tetris every time you need to move around. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters more than it should when you’re trying to make everyone back home jealous with your sunset shots. One small thing – the walls could be a touch thicker because you’ll occasionally hear your neighbors, but honestly, most people are so chilled out here that it’s rarely an issue. With a 9.9 rating, this place has clearly figured out how to make people happy, and after spending time there, I totally get why.

  The apartment was great, spacious, fully equipped and with amazing view. The location is perfect too, Surin beach is about 4min walk away.

  Diyar is an excellent host and his wonderful support is already worth the choice. He has kept me updated on the weather conditions of surin beach since weeks before my departure as I was concerned about heavy rains! He was always extremely helpful throughout the stay, offering to answer questions and provide assistance for any doubts and needs. He welcomed us personally at our arrival despite it was very late and made us find welcome treats (a lot of tropocal fruits, drinks, coffes, cereals..) in the apartment, which was an unexpected suprise. The apartment is marvellous, very spacious and elegant, with a stunning hall where you can enjoy the swimming pool (for free) and a nice bar/restaurant (for paying). The rooms are huge, well furnished, there are two bathrooms (one with a pool-sized bathtub!), a TV with all international channels, a beautiful terrace and a big kitchen space. The beach is 5 min walking from the apartment and is served with several thai food stands. If interested, you can enjoy yoga classes in the morning for 400 bath on the surin beach, and wonderful massages nearby the apartment (I tried nana relax massage). I also highly recommend checking the nearby beach called laem sing, but please note that you need to do a little trekking between the rocks (sometimes slippery) to get there.

  Pros: to the sea 5 minutes walk through a small park, near the apartments 3 most popular supermarkets – Tops, Big C, Lotus, a lot of delicious cafes nearby. From the airport, it takes 30 minutes to get there. Patong can be reached by cab in 30 minutes.
  The apartments themselves have a perfect layout, very spacious and equipped with everything you need. And the owner is so friendly that he is ready to solve any of your problems and answer any question.

  The host was extremely helpful and would check in occasionally to see if we needed anything. He took time to go through the apartment with us and even had water and some fresh fruit for our arrival. The apartment was exactly what we expected but the pool exceeded our expectations as well as having a small restaurant at the resort to order f&B from.
  
  The area is very convenient to the beach and restaurants.

  Wir haben uns in dem Apartment wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Zuvor waren wir bereits in zwei Hotels in Patong, aber als wir hier ankamen, war ich mehr als positiv überrascht. Da ich ein Mensch bin, den man schwer begeistern kann, hat mich die gesamte Anlage schlichtweg überwältigt.
  
  Der Weg hinauf in den vierten Stock, in dem sich unsere Wohnung befindet, bot auf der rechten Seite einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Supermarkt Tops. Dahinter erstreckte sich ein malerischer Hügel, umgeben von Bäumen und Palmen – ein Anblick, der einfach zum Staunen einlud. Auch der tägliche Weg von der Haustür zum Lift war ein Genuss, da ein angenehmer Wind wehte, der in der Hitze eine erfrischende Abkühlung brachte. Im Vergleich zu Patong empfand ich die Hitze hier als viel erträglicher.
  
  Die hohen, hellen Räume sind liebevoll eingerichtet und strahlen eine einladende Atmosphäre aus. Zum ersten Mal nach Wochen haben wir einen Fernseher genutzt, da wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben, als wären wir zuhause. Die Sauberkeit entsprach in thailändischen Verhältnissen einem hohen Standard. Lediglich hin und wieder konnte man einen Gecko sichten, aber diese tun uns zum Glück nichts.
  
  Besonders begeistert waren wir, dass es für unser 20 Monate altes Kind ein Gehege mit vielen bunten Bällen gab. Sie liebt Bälle und hatte unwahrscheinlich viel Spaß beim Spielen. Nicht zu vergessen ist der traumhafte Blick von unserem Balkon: Die Palmen schlossen genau auf dieser Höhe ab und boten ein einfach genialen Ausblick.
  
  Das Raumklima war äußerst angenehm und die ruhige Umgebung perfekt zum Entspannen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen und kann dieses Apartment nur wärmstens empfehlen!
