The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that feels refreshingly calm compared to the mayhem outside – and trust me, once you’ve dealt with the tuk-tuk drivers and street vendors for a few hours, you’ll appreciate having a peaceful retreat to come back to.

What really sold me on this hotel was how they’ve managed to balance being right in the action while still giving you space to breathe. The rooms are genuinely comfortable (I mean, the air conditioning actually works properly, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed), and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up with a backache after a long day exploring. The staff here really know their stuff too – they gave me solid recommendations for local spots that weren’t just tourist traps, including this amazing little seafood place tucked away on a side street that I never would’ve found on my own. I actually ended up eating there three times during my stay.

Here’s the thing about staying in Patong – location is everything, and Grace Patong Hotel nails it. You’re close enough to the beach that you can easily walk there when you want to, but far enough from the loudest bars that you can actually get some sleep at night. The pool area becomes this perfect little oasis during those brutally hot afternoon hours when even the locals are hiding indoors. I spent more time there than I planned, honestly, just reading and people-watching. The breakfast spread is pretty solid too – nothing fancy, but they’ve got the basics covered well, and the coffee is surprisingly good for a hotel this size. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but sometimes you just want a place that does the fundamentals right without breaking the bank or feeling like you’re staying in a sterile chain hotel.

  The location is great near the jungcylon mall and central mall. The staff were friendly and smiley. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was good.

  Front desk was very welcoming and friendly. The ENTIRE staff in the breakfast dining room were friendly and attentive. Location was great! Short alleyway lead to the main street right in front of the Baanzan night market.

  Right in the center of patong. Only a few minutes to walk to the food night market and Jungceylon mall. Breakfast was also a great option in the morning. There was a variety of food to select and was slightly different every morning.
