I mean, the decor won’t win any awards, but it’s modern enough and the bed was comfortable after long days exploring Bangla Road and getting sunburned on the beach.
What really sold me on this place was the location, honestly. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from all the chaos of Bangla Road if that’s your thing, but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night without earplugs. During the day, the main beach is right there – and I’m talking about the good stretch too, not the overcrowded mess near the bigger resorts. The hotel doesn’t have a pool (which would’ve been nice), but with the ocean literally across the street, I didn’t miss it much. Plus, there’s a 7-Eleven practically next door, and if you’ve spent any time in Thailand, you know that’s basically essential infrastructure. The staff helped me figure out motorbike rentals too, which saved me from getting ripped off by the first guy I talked to on the street. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind or anything, but for the price point and that location, GO INN delivers exactly what it promises – a clean, comfortable base camp for exploring Patong without breaking the bank.
