You’re close enough to hit the popular beaches when you want to, but far enough away that you can enjoy some peace and quiet. The drive to Phuket International Airport takes maybe 15 minutes, which honestly saved us so much stress on departure day. There’s also this local night market about 10 minutes away that most tourists never discover — the mango sticky rice there is ridiculous.
