Favorite Place Overview
You know what? Favorite Place is one of those hotels that surprised me in the best way possible. I’ll be honest – when I first saw it was a three-star property, I wasn’t expecting much, but sometimes you stumble onto these hidden gems that just get everything right without all the fancy frills.
The moment I walked into the lobby, I actually felt this sense of relief. It’s clean, comfortable, and – here’s the thing that really got me – the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests arrive. My check-in took maybe three minutes, and the woman behind the desk gave me these local restaurant recommendations that ended up being absolute gold. I mean, she could’ve just handed me a generic tourist map, but she actually drew little stars next to places where she personally liked to eat. That kind of attention makes such a difference when you’re traveling somewhere new.
What I really appreciated about this place was how they nailed the basics without trying to be something they’re not. The rooms are thoughtfully designed – nothing fancy, but everything works perfectly. The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in recently, and I’m pretty picky about that stuff. The bathroom had decent water pressure (you travelers know how hit-or-miss that can be), and there were actually enough outlets near the bed for all my devices. Small details, sure, but they add up to make your stay so much smoother. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout the building too – I could even get a good signal down in the little breakfast area. Speaking of which, their morning spread wasn’t elaborate, but it hit all the right notes with fresh coffee, decent pastries, and some local touches that showed they put thought into it. I actually found myself lingering there longer than usual, just enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. The whole place has this unpretentious vibe that feels authentic rather than manufactured. It’s the kind of spot where you can tell the owners actually care about creating a welcoming experience, not just maximizing every dollar. For the price point, honestly, I can’t think of many places that deliver this level of genuine hospitality and comfort.
Hotels near me in Phuket offer convenient access to pristine beaches, where guests can easily walk to Phi Phi Islands ferry terminals, Big Buddha temple, and world-renowned beach clubs in tropical surroundings.

Value for money and location were unbeatable. Convenient parking right outside your place.
Aristidou from Thailand (8/10)
I liked the fact that this hotel was reasonably priced a short walking distances from the small bar scene in Kata. Beaches were close by and stunning. Everything you could want or need is in close proximity. I would highly recommend hiring a motorcycle to visit some of the other beaches or visit the Big Buddha etc.

Wayne from Singapore (9/10)
Location is great if you want to explore the Kata area, with the beach just a short walk away. Also liked that it was a stand-alone house along a stretch which was quite close to food and massage parlours.
