Now, Rawai isn’t the flashiest part of Phuket – it’s more of a local fishing village that’s slowly been discovered by travelers who want something quieter than Patong or Kata. You’re about a five-minute walk from Rawai Beach, which honestly isn’t the best for swimming but perfect for watching those gorgeous sunsets everyone talks about. The real charm is being close to the pier where you can catch longtail boats to nearby islands – we did a day trip to Coral Island that was absolutely worth it. There are some solid local restaurants within walking distance too, though you might want to rent a scooter to really explore the area properly. The villa itself sits in a quiet residential street, so don’t expect nightlife right outside your door, but that’s actually part of the appeal. With a 7.4 rating, it’s not perfect – the WiFi can be spotty, and the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms was a bit temperamental during our stay – but for the price and the private pool experience, it’s honestly a pretty solid choice if you want to feel like you’re living in Phuket rather than just visiting it.

  Beautiful spacious villa wonderful Seaview from the 3rd and 4th floor big living room well equipped kitchen excellent pool with little kids pool. Fabien was great, he took excellent care of us and was quick to send engineers to fix anything that was needed.
