I’ll be straight with you – this is a three-star place, so don’t expect marble lobbies or those fancy turndown chocolates on your pillow. But here’s the thing that floored me: they’ve got a 9.5 rating, and after staying there, I totally get why. The Dokdin family (I think the son handles most of the front desk duties now) remembers your name after the first day, asks about your plans, and actually means it when they offer help. I mean, when’s the last time that happened at a hotel?

The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing Instagram-worthy, but the beds are surprisingly good and the air conditioning works like a dream. What really got me was the attention to small stuff that matters. Fresh towels appeared without asking, the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner of your room, and they keep the common areas spotless without being intrusive about it. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, but the place never felt chaotic or overwhelmed. The family’s got this rhythm down – you can tell they’ve been doing this for years and genuinely care about getting it right. There’s something refreshing about a place where the owners are still hands-on instead of just checking profit margins from some remote office. Sure, it’s not luxury, but sometimes you just want a place that feels like someone actually gives a damn about whether you sleep well and start your day right.

  we had a good experience living there. The owner was very nice and kind. She takes good care of us and prepares a very good tour guidance to us. And we even have free coffee and chocolate, board game and some cool cats to pat around

  The accommodation is 20 min walk from the beach on a quiet street. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful, helped us with taxi pick up from the airport and back. We booked daily excursions to Phi Phi and Similan Island directly with the host.

  Lovely little place the bed was so comfy and loved the tv projector which already had a Netflix account on from the owner. Room was also spotless would defo recommend staying here when in Patong.

  It's such a cute place to stay in! It feels like being at home. Everything was clean and the whole space is super inviting. Perfect for a group of friends travelling together. The staff are extremely nice as well!
