Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to DB Residence – the name sounds pretty corporate, right? But you know what, this three-star place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got this understated charm that grows on you, especially if you’re the type who appreciates solid value over flashy amenities.

The lobby has this clean, minimalist vibe that immediately puts you at ease – not trying too hard to impress, but everything feels thoughtfully put together. I mean, the check-in was refreshingly smooth (no endless upselling pitches), and the staff genuinely seemed to know what they were doing. The rooms are what I’d call “smart cozy” – not huge, but laid out so well that you don’t feel cramped at all. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s decent soundproofing, which matters more than people think. I slept really well, even though I’m usually sensitive to noise.

What really won me over, though, was the attention to little details that make a difference when you’re traveling. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere – fast enough for video calls, which saved me during a work emergency. The bathrooms have proper water pressure and stay hot, plus they stock those thick towels that feel like a small luxury. There’s a nice communal area where you can grab coffee in the morning or just decompress in the evening, and it never felt overcrowded during my stay. The neighborhood around it has that authentic local feel – you’ll find some great little cafes and shops within walking distance, the kind of spots where you actually see residents going about their daily lives rather than just tourist traps. Parking was straightforward too, which honestly can make or break a trip when you’re dealing with rental cars and unfamiliar streets. I’d definitely stay here again, especially considering the price point – it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  I thought we were conned we pay for then nights we a arrived late at night after a bit of confusion were given to lovely rooms after having asleep we went down stairs for a coffee to find out were we were and was was told we had to swap rooms because we were in wrong ones but the rooms they wanted us to take were on forth floor no lifts I said no I wanted to keep our rooms they said we have to wait for boss who would be there at 3 so half day gone in the end we had to pay 14000 bahat not happy 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  Hotel bien situé à seulement 15 minutes de marche de la plage de Patong Beach et de Bangla road!
  Une partie du personnel qui parle le Français ce qui a bien simplifié les choses!
